What are Allied Fire Protection’s specialties?

Do you install Fire Alarm Systems?
Yes we do, and we apply the same high level of expertise and experience to Fire Alarm Systems as with our Fire Sprinkler Systems.
Who does the underground work for Allied Fire Protection?
Actually, Allied is uniquely qualified and licensed to complete all of the “underground” portion of our projects. That includes fire, domestic (potable) and utility water lines. We work with local utility authorities to obtain proper permits and we’re code-compliant with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to excavate, connect, service and install the building water lines and fire lines essential to your property.
Are your installations guaranteed?

Allied stands behind every installation with a comprehensive One Year Warranty on parts and labor. In addition, all of our manufacturers and distributors – such as Ansul, Bosch, GE, Honeywell (Gamewell-FCI and Notifier), Reliable, Tyco, Victaulic, and Viking – are well established and recognizable as industry leaders who provide superior quality equipment and parts.

Is Allied able to service a fire safety system installed by another company?
Yes, because fire safety is our number one concern. We’re experts. We’re professionals. We can inspect and service fire and life safety systems, whether we installed them or not.
What’s your commitment to safety?
“Safety First” is a core value and guiding principle of Allied Fire Protection. Our ultimate goal is zero accidents. Our safety program complies with all federal, state and local regulations with emphasis on OSHA requirements for construction operations. Just as important, we prioritize the safety and health of our employees and customers first in how operate our business. Our technicians are certified in OSHA 30 or OSHA 10 as well as specific hazards that can be encountered on the jobsite.
Can you test all types of backflow preventers, not just those connected to the fire sprinkler system?
We are licensed and certified to inspect both domestic (potable) and fire line backflow preventers. Plumbers are licensed and certified to inspect and test domestic backflow preventers only.
What states are you licensed in, besides Texas?

In addition to our home state of Texas, we’re proud to hold licenses in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Do you have an Apprenticeship Training Program?
Yes! Our commitment to training begins with our DOL-approved four-year Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship training program. This program allows our employees to learn the trade not just through required coursework, but with on-the-job experience working side-by-side with a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter, learning to install Fire Sprinkler systems the right way.

Is Allied an approved GSA and/or TXMAS contract holder?
Yes, we are! We’re an approved GSA contract holder (Contract No. GS-21F-0041W) for Water Based Fire Suppression System Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services (Category 561 002) and Fire Alarm System Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services (Category 561 001). We are also an approved TXMAS (Texas Multiple Award Schedule) contract holder (Contract No. TXMAS-10-03FAC0100 Fire Protection).
